David Escobar

David Escobar picked up the instrument at age 14, after a couple years playing an old nylon string guitar he moved to electric, studying long hours a day for many years, even while attending business school and slowly building a reputation for himself as one of the most proficient and creative guitar players in his home country.

He has a successful YouTube channel with thousands of subscribers and over a million views, and he is currently working on his instrumental project as well as with his band S.T.E where he not only plays guitar, but also sings backing vocals and works as the main songwriter.

In 2013 he coproduced, recorded and mixed his band’s debut “Espirales”, which was mastered in Sterling Sound Studio in New York by UE Nastasi, recognized engineer who has worked with bands like AC/DC, Anthrax and Dream Theater, and solo artists like Eric Clapton, Yngwie Malmsteen and Eric Johnson.

2014 started off as a great year for Escobar, after being endorsed by MTD Kingston Guitars and Mooer Audio he was invited to the NAMM show in the United States and the Musikmesse fair in Germany to perform in two of the most important events in the music products industry.
